In many cases, every effort is directed towards keeping girls in schools. It also came up that several stakeholders are advocating for ways of keeping girls safe in cities. At GWI, we totally agree and support this. However, working closely in underprivileged communities, we see more to keeping girls in schools, more to keeping girls safe in cities.
Interacting with girls in Bukomolo Village, their question is: “How about we not in school but yearn to have our dignity while in community?
GWI is answering this through a skills development project for these girls. Therefore, we are kindly asking you Join to us. We want sewing equipment, hair dressing equipment and craft equipment.
A gift of $1,000 can initially equip this project.
