GWI uses agriculture equipment/tools to promote agriculture activities. We use these equipment partly as an income sustainability plan for our clinic project in Bukomolo village, eastern Uganda. GWI hoped to sustain the clinic on Fees levied on patients for the services they receive but it is so difficult to raise even 15% on the total clinic monthly expenditure (salaries, stock medicines, buy medical equipment, PPEs, lab supplies, fuel, & utilities among others). Read full story
Bukomolo is a peasant community. A community with low economic standard, no electricity, poor housing, no shop, no school & families depend on digging to get food & other basic needs.
We have also integrated these equipment in our programs of the youths and women.
