Building a future free from alcohol addiction through Youths Brick-Making Project

Alcohol addiction is becoming a major challenge among youths in Bukomolo community that is leading to rise in crime rates, unemployment and of course health crisis.

 

GWI is designing comprehensive projects to provide skills and opportunities for them to foster a healthy sustainable lifestyle and at the same time to provide rehabilitation.

 

With support from Operation Beautiful Feet in the United States of America, the youths received machines to support them to make Bricks starting with concrete pavers and blocks.

Joy Griffin, the president of Operation Beautiful Feet who visited these youths last week said that, she is praying for the success of projects that can help many young boys who are becoming addicted to alcohol and without education to get skills such as pavers, carpentry and welding.

The brick-making project aims to provide youths with hands-on training and it’s a straight forward activity to learn and has consistent demand in many areas.
