These girls are working hard to learn to make reusable pads. It is a routine for them to gather with the Chief (Grace Nakajje) who not only trains them but also talks into their lives.
Indeed, their life is pathetic. They suffer shame as a result of poor menstrual hygiene management. Boys and older men scorn these girls, making them insecure to cope up with life either at school or in their own homes.
We are so excited for these girls and their progress to help themselves.
