“It’s my routine to lift him up every morning and I look straight at his eyes, with a big smile on my lips. I guess someday, he will physically look and see my eyes too, my smile and the loving friends who support our family and pray for his sight” These are the words of GWI Chief, Grace Nakajje after Baby Israel received a walker.
Baby Israel is two years and eight months old. He was born a premature and he suffered eye hemorrhage. He is now blind. We are looking for a pediatric surgeon to help this baby because life with blindness is very poor.
